I believe in taking a strength-based and client-centered approach in therapy. What this means is that we will work collaboratively by building trust and establishing great rapport that will impact change in your life.

My role is to serve a guide for your development and journey. I will meet you with the utmost empathy, respect and patience. I believe we as people have the capacity to change and the resiliency to live life authentically.

I have experience and training using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Grief Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic and Mindfulness.

About ME

I am originally from Maryland but fortunate to call California my home since 2011. I decided to pursue mental health counseling after playing NCAA Division I basketball and teaching English abroad in South Korea.

I realized my passion of establishing interpersonal relationships as well as my love for working with people. During my career as a mental health practitioner, I have worked in non-profits, school-based therapy, and outpatient clinics.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, watching movies, listening to music, traveling, eating good food, and reading.
